Julian Isaacs, D.D.S.
Dr. Isaacs is a New York based Cosmetic and Restorative Dentist. He combines a dedication to providing the highest quality of dental care with a genuine caring for each patient. A born and bred New Yorker, he is a graduate of New York University's College of Dentistry. He specializes in cutting-edge treatments in esthetic dentistry and implant dentistry.
Growing up, Dr. Isaacs was always interested in science. At The University of Miami he majored in biology with a minor in both chemistry and economics. But it was only midway through his university studies that he began to think about pursuing a career in dentistry. For many years his mother had worked with developmentally disabled individuals. When he happened to accompany her one day to take one of them to a dental appointment, and then sat in on the exam, it became a turning point in his life. Suddenly he found himself exploring a field he had previously known little about but soon became passionate about.
He continues to keep abreast of the most recent developments in all areas of general and cosmetic dentistry through advanced training in the latest treatments and technologies.
Asked what he most likes about his work, he says, “I really enjoy the interaction with my patients, talking to people from all different walks of life, and helping to improve the health of their teeth and the beauty of their smiles.”
When he is not working, Dr. Isaacs enjoys traveling and quiet time with family and friends. He also appreciates participating in community service, the most rewarding having been two weeklong outreach programs to Latin America with a group of fellow medical professionals, where they were able to provide free dental care for several hundred children and adults. He says that those experiences have been “quite honestly, the most fun I’ve had as a dentist — it’s just pure doctor-patient interaction.”
